Proliant에 NVRAM을 초기화 하는 방법은 크게 두가지가 있다.
부팅 중 <F9> 펑션키를 통해 RBSU에 진입하여
System Default Options > Restore Default System Settings
Resets all configuration settings to their default values. Any changes you made are not saved.
CAUTION: When you select use this option to reset configuration settings, any modifications that you have made might be lost.
BIOS 상에 변경된 옵션 값 초기화
Date & Time - Time Zone 설정 유지
System Board 상의 System maintenance switch에서
S6 : On = ROM reads system configuration as invalid.
When the system maintenance switch position 6 is set to the On position, the system is prepared to erase all system configuration settings from both CMOS and NVRAM.
CAUTION: Clearing CMOS and/or NVRAM deletes configuration information. Be sure to properly configure the server or data loss could occur.
설정된 체크섬 값을 무효화 시켜 기존에 셋팅된 모든 정보가 의미 없도록 만듬

Date & Time - Time Zone 설정 초기화

Note: Clearing NVRAM should not be confused with invalidating NVRAM. Invalidating NVRAM is done by switch 6 in switch bank 1 on most servers. This changes the checksum bit of the NVRAM and causes the NVRAM to be invalidated, but not really cleared. Clearing NVRAM involves turning all bits in NVRAM to zeros, thereby actually clearing it.
