Dell Asset Tag Utility for Dell 9G-12G servers.
* When Dos-Based Asset Tag for 12G option is selected, an error message "Insert a Disk 2" is displayed.
Ignore the error message and proceed.
2. Boot from Support Live Image
3. Select DOS-Based Diagnostic Tools (Dell 12G servers)
4. Select option 4 to exit to a command prompt
5. Switch to directory c:\util
6. Change Service Tag
Use this command to change the service tag:
C:\> asset /s xxxxxx
In place of the x's input your system's service tag
